a Salt Lake City-based editor who specializes in coaxing the best writing from even the roughest drafts.
I have almost a decade of experience working with major publishers, top-tier editing agencies, and individual authors. Some of my projects include Barbara O'Neal's This Place of Wonder; Robert Bryndza's Amazon #1 bestseller Nine Elms and its sequel, Wall Street Journal bestseller Shadow Sands; Carolyn Brown's Amazon and Washington Post bestseller The Empty Nesters; and other novels for New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors.
My résumé reflects my varied interests: I've written for fashion magazines and real estate blogs, edited crime novels, textbooks, Regency romances, and memoirs, and proofread illustrated children's books. I love stories of all kinds, and I'm confident in my ability to help authors tell the best version of theirs, whatever the subject matter.
My editorial philosophy is simple: Every author has a unique voice and a unique story to tell. It's my job to help you hone that voice and figure out which parts of your writing are working for you and which parts are getting in the way. The fixed apostrophes and called-out continuity issues are just an added perk.
